At Variegated Greens, every plant begins its journey within a carefully observed growing environment, where light, darkness, temperature, humidity, airflow, nutrition, and root health work together.
My cultivation approach is guided by the natural biological rhythms of plants. Rather than forcing growth or promising particular expressions of variegation, I observe how each plant responds to its environment, allowing its individual characteristics to develop over time.
My Cultivation Guide & Growing History offers a closer look at the conditions in which these plants are nurtured, including my signature Akadama and Fluval Stratum growing medium, circadian-style lighting, balanced nutrition, and the fascinating relationship between genetics, environment, and leaf pigmentation.
This guide is intended to inform, not prescribe. Every home environment is different, and future leaves may express themselves differently as plants adapt to their new surroundings.
