“Verdigris Fresco” unfolds in layers of deep green, muted mineral green, cream, and restrained warmer tones, fragmented into intricate marbling across the leaf. No single colour takes possession of the surface; each seems to move through the next—softened, interrupted, and revealed again.
Like pigment worked into a fresco, the variegation appears embedded within the leaf rather than simply laid across it, while the weathered green tones recall the quiet patina of verdigris.
